SYNOPSIS
Eva and Mia are sisters. Mia is cheerful and open. She has Down syndrome, doesn’t care about fashion and loves people – especially boys. Eva is less cheerful; she works and travels a lot, and doesn’t have a boyfriend. Mia can’t wrap her head around that. Eva filmed herself and her sister for ten years in an effort to gain a better understanding of their relationship, their similarities and differences. The result is a portrait of the two sisters, filled with joy, shame, and the desire to overcome the bourgeois sensibilities that inhibit sisterly love.
The film was cofounded with the funds of the Croatian Audiovisual Centre and the City of Zagreb.
